02. Reluctance

Ripple: Reluctance
The speed of the ambulance is slow and seems disinterested, revealing the absence of anything salvageable inside; leaving the cries of a baby that is now alone. The woman watches, still stunned by what she had just witnessed and almost completely oblivious to the child she clings to.
The police officer at the scene soon realizes that she is not likely to leave the infant without a known mother and allows her to escort the child down to the police station where the situation will be further investigated.
